Terms of sale
Last updated: 4 November 2026
These terms of sale apply to chauffeur-driven passenger transport services booked on chauffeur-officiel.com, by phone or by e-mail with TRANSPORT OFFICIEL (French simplified joint-stock company (SAS), registered in Paris under number 983 575 788, head office: 22 rue du Hameau, 75015 Paris, France), trading as “Chauffeur Officiel”, hereinafter “the Provider”. Any booking implies full acceptance of these terms.
1. Services
The Provider offers, in Paris and the Île-de-France region, transfers (airports, train stations, hotels, event venues, private and business addresses) and hourly chauffeur services, within the passenger and luggage limits shown for each vehicle. Journeys outside Île-de-France are quoted on request.
2. Booking
The client enters the journey, date, time and number of passengers and bags. The calculator shows a fixed price for each available vehicle. The request is sent with the client’s contact details; the booking is final once confirmed by the Provider (e-mail, text message or phone). As required by French regulations on chauffeur-driven vehicles (VTC), every ride must be booked in advance. The client undertakes to provide accurate information (addresses, flight or train number, number of passengers and bags).
3. Prices
Prices are in euros, all taxes included. The price shown when booking is a fixed price for the chosen journey and vehicle. Any change requested by the client (new address, extra stop, waiting beyond what was planned, extra passengers or luggage, extended hourly hire) may lead to an additional charge, announced to the client beforehand.
4. Payment
Payment is made with the method offered and chosen when booking, in particular online by card through a secure payment provider. An invoice is issued on request.
5. Changes and cancellation
Any change or cancellation must be sent to the Provider by phone or e-mail. The cancellation terms for the ride are stated in the booking confirmation. If the client does not show up at the agreed place and time without notice, the full fare may be charged.
6. Client obligations
Passengers must follow safety rules, including wearing seat belts. Smoking and vaping are not allowed in the vehicles. Children travel with a suitable child seat, to be requested when booking. The client is liable for any damage caused to the vehicle by themselves or their passengers.
7. Luggage and lost property
Luggage remains the responsibility of its owners. Items left in the vehicle are kept and can be collected by contacting the Provider.
8. Delays and liability
The Provider does its best to keep to the agreed times. It cannot be held liable for delays caused by events beyond its control (exceptional traffic, demonstrations, road closures, accidents, strikes, checks, weather) or by force majeure. The Provider holds liability insurance suited to passenger transport.
9. Complaints and mediation
Complaints should be sent to transport.officiel@gmail.com. Under articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers may refer an unresolved dispute free of charge to a consumer mediator, whose details are provided on request.
10. Personal data
See our privacy policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
